2010-2014 Subaru Outback Skid Plate

I got engine and transmission skid plates for my 2012 Subaru Outback. I was disappointed that there were no instructions included with the skid plates. But they were thicker than most of the other skid plates out there. I had to widen the front holes about 1/8" to get the engine skid plate to fit. You need the spacers to keep the skid plates from touching the exhaust. I am going to mark their location and have the spacers welded onto the front skid plate before installing the transmission skid plate. I have seen other brands with access plates to change the oil, and the spacers already welded on. I don't like that I will have to uninstall both plates to change the oil. But the price was good, and as I said, these skid plates are thicker than others out there.
