2020-2025 Subaru Outback XT & Subaru Wilderness Gas Tank Skid Plate

I have yet to test it out on the trails but from the initial instal and observation they seem to very well built. A little vague on the instructions but Patrick replied to my email quickly and fixed the minor problem I had. I was getting a clunking noise every time I went over a pot hole or speed bump fast. Don’t forget to use the 4 spacers (2ea for the top 2 bolts) along with the supplied hardware. That fixed the problem. Also I like the fact that no clearance is lost with any of their skid plates which in my opinion should be a standard.

So before buying I took an in depth look at the available Gas Tank Skids, and was very impressed by ADF. These plates feature their signature clean functional lines, solid 3/16" construction with no loss of clearance, and an easy no drill install. They present a nice smooth surface with no possibility of snagging. I like them a lot. In addition, Mr. Anderson and his team provide great customer service.

Mounted easily and looks like they will provide great protection of the fuel tank on my new OBW
