Enhance your 1995-1999 Subaru Outback with our 4.5” Lift Kit, designed to maximize clearance and enhance off-road capabilities. This kit includes a 2.5” strut spacer, 2” strut spacers, and a 2” full subframe spacers kit, all meticulously engineered for optimal CV joint angles and increased lifespan. Additionally, the kit comes with spacers for the Engine Crossmember, Transmission, Carrier bearing, Differential hanger, and rear Differential. The estimated installation time is 10-12 hours minimum.

Manufacturing Excellence:
- We laser cut and form 1/4" steel with added gussets for extreme strength and reliability, ensuring precise fitment. The 2.5” lower lift bracket, also made from 1/4" steel, is laser-cut for high tire clearance, allowing 2.5 inches more spring perch for larger tires.
Factory Alignment and CV Joint Angles:
- Subframe spacers are necessary for maintaining good CV joint angles with lifts exceeding 2.5". Our goal is to keep CV joints within a 2-2.5" range above the factory angle. Built-in Camber and improved Caster offsets in the steel spacers help maintain factory alignment specifications. We recommend a post-installation alignment to correct any small deviations during installation.
Trailing Arm Spacers:
- The kit includes 3” Trailing Arm Spacers.
Rear Height Adjustments:
- Our rear spacers, available in different heights, compensate for added load or uneven vehicle leveling. They are designed as solid spacers, eliminating the need for stacking. Adding 3/8” compensates for mild loads/weight (75 lbs.), + ½” more for excessive loads/weight (90 lbs.).For hauling heavy loads, standard height king springs are recommended.
Additional Components:
- The kit features a steering shaft extension, a longer pitch mount, and a radiator hose extension.
- Requirements: Upper radiator hose modification with the provided extension, steering shaft drilling and new spacer installation. For manual transmissions, shift linkage modification (not included) is required, and air box modification may be necessary. Other adjustments for proper functionality may also be required.
