Rear Sway Bar Reinforcement Brackets

Installed the brackets on a 2015 Crosstrek with a 2” lift in about 15 minutes. Probably helped that I had just installed the lift a week ago so the bolts weren’t all rusted up. Could use a longer bolt through the inboard attachment (would be good to have as part as the kit). A little concerned that the nuts will back off during use. That’s the reason I gave the review 4 stars instead of 5….. Overall, the upgrade looks good and was easy! Can’t wait to see how it affects the driving experience.

I am using these on a 2012 outback with a Whiteline BSR49XZ 22mm swaybar and KLC200 adjustable end links. The whiteline reinforcement brackets were not a good fit, while these upper mounts and reinforcement brackets were a perfect fit with easy install. Fantastic design and quality! I did change the lower swaybar bracket bolt to a JIS 10.8 flange M8x1.25mm x 30mm length vs the 25mm ones included, to make it a quicker install.

Had a small issue of getting 2 of the same part but it was taken care of immediately.

I am really impressed with how solid these braces are. They make the stock sway bar mounts look quite frankly pathetic.

One thing I would change about this kit, is to swap the included flange bolts out for longer ones, and to also include back up nuts.

The sway bar mounting nuts on my Subaru were completely toast, and couldn't handle the new install at OEM torque, so an extra, external nut was needed to complete the installation. The new lower screw wasn't long enough to accommodate the nut with both stiffening brackets installed.. so I opted to bore the lower hole out to 3/8ths for a much firmer, through-bolted connection.

I am overjoyed at the upgrade this provides my Subaru. I am regularly on gravel roads and drive this little car very hard, so the extra stability is immediately noticeable, and much appreciated.

Just finished installing the brace pair and am pretty happy with it. I can’t believe how weak the stock bracket is after installing these. Where there was definitely slack before is now totally solid. Went on a quick drive and I can definitely feel a difference with how the rear of the car handles - it’s more controlled and handles bumps better.

Install was fairly straightforward. I live in the salt belt so doing anything under my car is interesting. Additionally, my stock brackets were somewhat bent, which made installing these slightly difficult.
